Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is the publisher of La Goutte d'Ambre, who can be reached at contact@lagouttedambre.com for any question about your personal data.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send through the contact form, namely your email address and your message. We use it solely to reply to you and never sell or pass it on for marketing.

Lawful basis

Under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK General Data Protection Regulation, we process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box before sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Who processes it

Only the editors read your messages. They are stored in a spreadsheet hosted by Google, acting as our processor. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's IP address when it does so. Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under the safeguards they apply to international transfers.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept for as long as it takes to deal with your request, then deleted.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising, tracking or audience measurement cookies. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we would ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.

Your rights under UK GDPR

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email contact@lagouttedambre.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Under-18s

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
